Carol Wong is the Executive Director of the Chinatown Learning Center and part of the Asian American Chamber of Commerce Board. She opened the preschool and after-school program in 1993 and has been involved in many community organizations. She has been on the SUNS board since 2009 and is happy to stay involved as an Advisory Board Member. Carol believes in helping the next generation become our future leaders to give back to the community and to appreciate their heritage. Carol has an Elementary Education Degree and a Master's Degree as a Reading Specialist, both from Penn State University. She also has a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from West Chester University. She enjoys giving back to the community through many different organizations. Some of them are the Phila. Chinatown Development Corporation (PCDC) Board, Asian American Women's Coalition (AAWC) Board, and On Lok House Board. Carol enjoys traveling, cooking, volunteering, and staying connected with people. Her favorite pastime is enjoying her family.
